What is a way to make video game walkthroughs,reviews,etc. with just a didital camera? Will it look bad if I just put it in front of the Tv? How should I make the brightness not too bright or dark?

I need a video camera to record my guitar lessons, song covers, and even a few cello video, what kind of camera should I get? I care more about audio than the video itself, however I don’t want a pixelated and blurry me, any good video cameras out there?

im getting one for christmas i wanna know if people like it.

i heard it mentioned a lot in video game reviews, what exactly is it?

is it like if that camera goes off in a different place? if the game has slow down? can you explain it in a simple way?

I’m looking to get a Digital Video Camera & am debating at the moment between four formats: DVD, MiniDVD, MiniDV and HDD.

DVD and MiniDVD would be nice, because it doesn’t get much more convenient than recording, ejecting the disc and being able to pop it into a DVD player. However, from what I understand the quality isn’t as great as the other options, and it’s much more difficult to edit – especially on my Mac which doesn’t even accept MiniDVD’s. Also, I’d imagine it could get overwhelming having so many Discs lying around, since they do not store alot of data.

MiniDV seems great because it’s a removeable storage medium that holds a great deal more than DVD and is easy to edit, but the reviews I’ve been reading seem to suggest that it’s an aging format at this point – and it’s not as convenient as DVD’s for compatability.

HDD’s are good, but are more expensive, and when you fill it up, you can’t just pop in another.

Any advice on which way to go / specific cameras to look at?

I want one that can be good with video recording, something I can order on amazon or a TRUSTED site. Nothing slow, good and portable. Help me out? Please put links if possible. Thanks a ton <3

Im really getting into seeing all of the reviews for things on youtube, and i want to start my own but i dont know what video camera is good for things like this. Im trying to stay under 0, and i am somewhat familiar with the Flip cameras. Thanks for the help.

I would like to get a video camera, and the Toshiba Camileo H20 seems the best for my budget. However, I do NOT want it to record in .mov as movie maker doesn’t support the file and I might lose HD if I convert.
I have seen mixed reviews, some saying it records in .AVI and MPEG-4 (Which I want) and some say .MOV (Which I don’t want)
WHAT IS THE FORMAT???

i am looking for a good camera but sorta cheap hear is my budget it can be between 100 – 99 – 200 nothing higher , i was thinking about buying one of the flip video’s b/c i hear a lot of good reviews on them . So if u could help me that would be great . again hear is my budget .

I went to Target today and saw the Sony Bloggie MHS-PM5 [http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921666073219#specifications]. It was amazing picture quality and I knew I had to get it. I especially loved how you can control where the lens goes so you can see yourself taking the picture. But then I read bad reviews on it at home, so I’m not that sure. Will it be weird if I only take still pictures with this even though it’s mainly a video camera? Or does the video camera and camera balance out equally? So, I probably won’t be using it to record video, but occasionally to see products really clearly !

Does the Flip HD / Flip Slide have still pictures?

What camera would you recommend if you don’t like the Bloggie? Thanks and I don’t want anything too expensive.

only i don’t want that one because it doesn’t shoot in HD. it has to be under 2000 bucks, anyone know of any websites with a wide range of that sort of camera? im having trouble finding one thats under 5000.

after recording footage on a new tape with my sony pd150, when i review it, most of my footage turns out ruined with DV "artifacts" almost as if the head was dirty. but i have used a sony head cleaning tape.. no use. maybe the tape head needs to be aligned? any advice?
and where would i take a video camera to get it cleaned/ repaired?

I have an iPad, and I’m looking into doing an ”application review”, however with the Flip video camera it often makes the text on the screen blurry and hard to read. Is there any way I can make it to where it records it much crisper? (if you know what I mean)

I really need GOOD ANSWERS! PLEASE DO NOT SAY THE FLIP CAM! I’ve read lots of reviews and looked at youtube videos, and people say that it does not let you edit the videos if you have Windows, and I do; so that would not work. My budget is in the 1{content}-0 range. I used to have a Cannon camera, and it was great video quality. It didn’t have HD though

i cant find any reviews for it and its only or less, so i just want to know if it’s crappy or something. most flip camera’s are about 200

I know the camera is not a video camera, but due to budget crunch we have to use this instead of a Sony camcorder we

and found that it can shoot VGA (640 x 480 pixels) video at two frame rates and a smaller 320 x 240 size at 8 frames per second.

We need do produce a recording of a 2hour workshop(most likely which will be indoor).

I don’t know if the camera supports external mike or not. The produced video will need to be edited
a bit using Windows MovieMaker and we may need to add some animations using Flash or another free tool.

Questions are:

1. How do I determine what is the capacity of the memory stick duo media the camera currently has?
2. How can I find out what length of video can it hold? I see something like

The Cyber-shot DSC-W220 can shoot movies in one of two VGA (640 x 480 pixels) modes. 640 Fine records at 30fps and 640 Standard at 17fps. Movies are encoded and stored as MPEG files and the 640 Fine mode occupies about 1GB of card space for a little over 12 minutes of footage. There’s a 2GB single file size limit, so the maximum recording time is effectively just under half an hour. To record using the 640 Fine mode you need to use Memory Stick Duo media.
There’s also a 320×240 option which shoots at 8fps. Restricting the small size video to 8fps seems a little over the top though.

Kayy well i’m thinking of getting a Flip Ultra HD video camera, and i’m just wondering, how far does it zoom? Does it have good quality? and How is the quality when you zoom in on somthing? Also, does it take pictures? How good of quality are the pictures? I will be editing the videos i take on imovie on my Macbook laptop, does the computer you edit it on affect the quality of the video? Please be specific! Thanks so much!!! Please, NO HATE!!!!!!!

I have a birthday coming up in 2 weeks (June 10). I really want to get a digital camera for making youtube videos as well has great quality pictures. I consider myself more of a trendy guy so I would prefer something cool looking. I really like the Kodak Slice, but I’ve heard many bad reviews. I also would not like to spend over 0.

We are going to be snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef in August and I want to take a good reliable underwater camera but I don’t know what to look for. I want to take photo’s and video. Anyone have some recommendations? I read reviews on the Lumix camera by Panasonic but most of the reviews complained that they weren’t waterproof….lol…not the best thing for underwater photography.

I want to make a youtube channel to make reviews and rants on things having to do with media and video games, but i dont really know what to do. What would be a good camera for recording the videos that isn’t too expensive (no more than 0)? Also, whats a good editing software that isn’t too confusing to use? So I bought a Bloggie HD video camera today, and I really like it, well except the zoom and I have read alot of reviews on it and stuff, but I just don’t know if I should take it back or not. Is the flip better? I am a youtube Vblogger, and stuff so I need a good video camera, any suggestions??
